ms53_wagon
Hey, just curious if anyone knows if this engine: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 156490.htm would be a direct (ish) replacement for a standard 4k in ke26? exhaust may be different but would the mounts for engine and gearbox be the same? also looks like a few more vacuum hoses from the carb than the standard 4k? cheers
Seedy Al
you may need to put mounts off a non van motor to fit, but pretty much yes would bolt mostly straight into anything k series, only other ting is flywheel and what gearbox you rolling. Early stuff like ke20's have a smaller bell housing and flywheel but any later box will still match up bolt wise Allan

ms53_wagon
haha, it is expensive, but i couldnt get a 4age into the 26 for anywhere near 1g. it would be 2g minimum i reckon, unless you have super sweet hookups and skills. not sure if he would take less than his start price? or if it is actually as mint as i think it would be for a 60,000km 2001 k engine Its for the chicks car, so more after reliability and original spec than power. chur
