Horse25 Posted June 13, 2009 Share Posted June 13, 2009 driving around recently noticed my lights go from normal to bright and same on the dash and when they are on bright the indicator is out of sync does this off and on while driving on for like 10 seconds then it would go back to normal. also when im idling the alternator light comes on briefly, so i had a look at how it was running, seemed the fan belt was either speeding up or slowing down not %100 but it was doing something or is it my alternator that is the problem? ESKIN8R Posted June 13, 2009 Share Posted June 13, 2009 Do you have a revcounter? That will tell you if the idle is all ova the place. Put a voltmeter onto the battery while running and see what voltage its reading, should be 13.5 - 14v Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
