rwdlancer Posted February 11, 2009 Author Share Posted February 11, 2009 i counted the teeth on the flywheel i got.its 120 teeth and around 310mm across.so i looked at the automatic flex plate that came off the 4g63 and its 110 teeth and 280 mm across.so im looking for a flywheel with 110 teeth what cars have these flywheels?? bubblegoose Posted May 5, 2009 Share Posted May 5, 2009 thought id drag this up rather than start a new one, ordered a clutch for 1600 ex lancer which my Gbox was from they are both 20 spline but the Gbox shaft is too wide for the plate why so oh knowledgeable ones? how many 20 spline variations were there? Its definately a 5 speed ex lancer box in your thing aswell.... hmmmmmm. have you tried giving the input shaft a really good clean? Was over at a mates place the other day, he was telling me that the clutch he just ordered for his rx7 gbox wouldnt fit, but went on sweet after some wirebrush action on the input shaft, as it was all gunked up originally. Failing that, if you got it from repco theres a small chance that the plate in the kit might be wrong, ive had it a few times when dealing with out supplier.
