shizzl Posted September 6, 2008 Share Posted September 6, 2008 if it does exist i wouldnt get it done ae.. could you imagine what it would look like if it chipped?? powder coating is a bitch once its chipped,it starts lifting. sure its hardy against scratches but ive seen alot of stuff powder coated.. if you dont wanna be polishing all the time cant you just spray on a 2k clear over it?? slipsittin Posted September 6, 2008 Share Posted September 6, 2008 I used to rebuild turbos for diesels and we coated the intake snails (alloy) with VHT clear lacqer and it made them easy to look after and shiny to boot like Shizzl said.
