Gaz
Id say the centre d/s hanger in a 2 peice setup is adaquate. You should only need one up the front by the tailshaft of your gbox/dshaft universal.

RT
so does it have to be 150mm from the universal, or at least 150mm from the universal? it.. you could have it 300mm from the uni? I think I might have shot myself in foot getting my exhaust done before I had the hoop made.. cos there is fuck all room now..

Ke36
loop must be within 150mm of front universal and you need them for every uni on ur driveshaft where if it snapped a length would still be attached to the diff so yes two for 2 peice d/shafts
RT
wot if the rear universal on snapps? a hoop at the front wouldn't help that.
MACKAZ
wot if the rear universal on snapps? a hoop at the front wouldn't help that. Speedway rules are the same. I smashed a rear uni in my stockcar and all it did was flank around. Have also snapped one (a rear) on Chevy powered RX7 and all it did was pull out of the gearbox....and make big puddle of oil
Ke36
yea what mackaz said rear aint a problem as nothings holding the front in plus car is going forwards
