Wouldnt be surprised if most of them are rusty there and ya just dont know untill you remove the gaurds! yeah dont mean to acuse you about it man either, it was just that it has been def done dodgy and covered up as the rusty piller had gunk and another panel riverted onto the front of it and then gunk/shit over that and then some other shit lol. and congrats also, all tied up now! but yeh take the guards off and grind it down as my mates escort was exactly the same
QCADTA
i must have been lucky to only have a bit of rust in the a pillars when i took my guards off, and it apent its life by the sea. you gonna buy replacement panels or get your own fabricated? Leebo3
In falcon terms, if you want to start a rebuild, take off your front gaurds. Make sure you have robbed a bank first though.
jamie_schollum
they have allready re made the panels and re made the tops of guards and changed the channels so the water doesnt sit there and it wont happen again

I stripped it back 18 months later to find little strips of steel pop rivited together with a few tack welds for fun and 10-20mm of bog
Gaz
Good shit man at least itll be done right this time. Wish the guy I got to do it in the first place hadn't moved. Make sure to make the gaurds bolt on when you put it back togther, best upgrade possiable IMO. Id even look at fiberglass gaurds as they are pretty cheap and you start with a straight as fuck gaurd that needs minimal to no bog, and bonus, CANT RUST!
