thminiman
very much so, pistons alone are worth twice that
Gaz
Def worth $100. Keep in mind you will need a crank grind and rebore to run those bearings and pistons. So thats usually $200 for rebore and about $150 for grind. Well all depends where ya go but you should be able to find that price or a tad less. Gaz
very much so, pistons alone are worth twice that The pistons from Ripco retail for $350 I think. I got a place who can do em for $105 and I know Bowdins does em for $200 a set.

treggo
Yea Will get it soon boe sorry to fuck you around. rofl
Gaz
Also sorry to sound n00b but why would you want undersize shells? Because the crank gets oval so they have to grind it smaller to get it round again. So you need undersized bearings.. wheras with the pistons you are boring it out to get rid of the lip in bore so you need oversized pistons. treggo
Ahh cheers for the move lol. Here are the cam specs:
RT
Thats a fairly big cam. I personally wouldn't use one like that for a daily driver.. actually.. I say that now because I did use one like that in my capri when it was a daily driver back in 2001.. lol twas a bit of a pig you will need twin45 carbs to fuel that properly. Also.. a bitch for a daily.
treggo
Are you serious? damn. I was hoping it would be okay, Anyone keen on a trade then? What specs would you recommend?
Gaz
Kent FR32 = perfect street cam. I dont thin the above will be THAT bad. Try it then sell if you dont like.
treggo
Heh I got it for 50bucks If it runs like crap i will flick it. Do you think it will be alright with an unported head? P.s. Thanks for the help boes.
Gaz
You can run any cam with an unported head it just wont do fuck all good as the head have reduced flow at top end. Cams generally move the power band up and give you more revs, if you cant flow up there then the cam is pretty much useless. It may struggle up top without the right headwork and carbs.
