P_Star Posted September 13, 2007 Share Posted September 13, 2007 Turns out the front right strut in the new lancer is a bit banana shaped... liveable with for the time being but will sort eventually... are the ex struts same deal/bolt straight up or na? does anyone have a spare strut for sale perhaps to fit my pimpn orange beast? CaMpylobacter Posted September 15, 2007 Share Posted September 15, 2007 no. his struts he is currently using are from an ex2000gsr. they went straight into his EX. when he went to fit them on the LA they wouldnt fit due to the use of a smaller diamter spring on the LA, thus, he now has had the bottom spring seat changed to the smaller type, and has LA top hats on the, which are the same as gen1 mirage ones. has porsche 911 inserts in them too but that's another story. thus, he has his stock ones still, i think. they may have been sacrificed for bits for the modifications to the m3an struts. but text him on the number mentioned above and he may still be able to get you some from a chick he knows that has a parts car.
