Unclejake
Has anyone had any real life experience making this change to an alloy wheel that is designed for tapered nuts? I have seen shank nut style rims slotted but not taper style/ I am not certain who to ask Any clues would be great.
corrupt
ive heard of people just squeezing them on, but that might have been with steels i think. i reckon it'd be pretty difficult, would have to get the seat all remade 1mm out which would be a dent in the pocket if you went to aarow wheels. Gaz
Hit up snoozin. He has done similar. Think it was 4x100 to 4x98. Or. I have part if not all of a 4x114.3 conversion kit for an escort which might be of help.. Think ive got axles, drum covers, discs. Will have to look and they not here... any help? Raizer
Didn't snoozin just use wobble bolts in his Alfa? Im 90% sure Alfa's use bolts not studs

Thanks Mang - but the additional weight of the adapters doesn't make that approach viable. I have one more Australian option in 4x108mm that might be perfect (albiet expensive). I am waiting on their response.... and then I might have finally found some wheels (13x7 and 4.6kgs each)
