kyteler
OK, after a bit more research, it would appear that the Minilite was first manufactured in 1962, they were used on the Mini Coopers of the time, that design, is nothing like the more modern versions, it's that blobby stumpy kind. The RS-Watanabe 8spoke first came about in 1968. Between those two dates it's likely the style changed and adapted etc, and it's also likely it was made by multiple other companies too, as it has been post '68. kyteler
Exactly The point though, is that it can hardly be called copying that design of 1962, when that design looks nothing like the later variants. Regardless of whether it was Black Racing, Panasport, Bridgestone, RS-Watanabe, Konig, Compomotive, Dunlop, Superlite, Superlight, etc
Mr Revhead
actaully its fully copying the design...... full sized minilights were out very soon after 1962 they used them on 1965 mustangs for example.... the japanese dont do original.... they take other ideas and copy/refine them
