droppdkp
Im looking at buying a 1600 and am looking for a resonibly simple diff conversion, best of all would be bolt in. I,ve heard that a subaru diff head(or complete diff?) bolts in but not really sure bout the authenticity of this. Anyone know a good option? droppdkp
What model subie is best to use? Are they an LSD diff? Do you use datsun axles?
Gaz
I think the diff is no bigger then the datsun 160. Go 180 but have to make custom half shafts.
Bullitt
1600 diffs are an R160...R180s and 200s fit in relatively easily but theyre abit wider...alot of then need modded for different axle couplings as said though
Rusted
As per subaru comment, Early model leone. They an R160 4.44 R200 is a BIG unit. Either go R160 as they sell for about $100 or R180 fits with little work. R200 is a big job to fit.
