I was talking to him today about how he's worked there 17 odd years, and how there used to be rows and rows of old escorts, datsuns and mitsis all lined up ready for the crusher. And he reckons hes got a whole bunch of photos from the 80's of this, would be great if we could get some scans of them and put em up here. anyway thought maybe one of you knows him well enough to get a few copy's. L0WMK2 Posted March 21, 2007 Share Posted March 21, 2007 heard of him pretty sure he's into streetstocks. problem with all cars, kiwi etc they rip offs and when they know your keen for something the put it out on the dismanters scanners and the price goes up. no wonder they just get crushed, kiwi told me a 1600 crossflow radiator was gonna be over $120 if they could find one and i was keen for a r30 turbo they had about 4 all with major shaft play and wanted $350 each. also they just tell you they dont got stuff so they dont have to go look. CUL8R Posted March 21, 2007 Share Posted March 21, 2007 Kiwi is 3x as bad as AllCars, Allcars guys are generally pretty good, but theres a couple of dickheads there. Yes he did race a streetstock, now races a Superstock/Stockcar - swapped his with Conrad Wilson after blowing his motor to pieces.. He's more than just a tow truck driver, owns the whole place Im sure of it, he has a couple of Galaxies/falcons I think matching pair.. Couple of the other good guys there are Brian and Marcus.
