Rusted
Toyota's biggest-ever truck engine, a brand-new 5.7L long-stroke V-8 rated at 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque. The open-deck cast-aluminum block. Thats all the relative info I found on the new V8 engine from the Toyota Tundra. Thats big for a japanese engine, although it's producted in the USA... mikuni
Americans never use engine codes or give real specifics aye. It annoys me trying to find details on engines they use. Its always just 5.7L v8 making so many hp or Inline 2.0L 4 cylinder etc. Specs look good though. Its quad cam VVTi. http://www.toyota.com/tundra/specs.html

Spencer
I think its part of th UR range its a stroked form of the new v8 direct injection engines made for the lexus range. but the 5.7 doesnt have the direct injection 1ur-fse = 4.6l 2ur-fse = 5l (dont think they make that one yet) 3ur-fse = 5.7l (for the tundra) be pretty cool engines, as far as I understand the ur engines are an extension of the direct injection v6's (2gr-fse)
Rusted
Imagine the grumpy old small block V8 grumble with the twin cam pitch. Mmmm angry.
