Leebo3
With the 302 going in sometime soon, i was thinking about going LPG. If i was to by this system, http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... d=85357356, could i put it in and get it certd or do the pros have to do it all? Rusted
As far as I'm aware, You can fit it all but it is best to left it all unhooked. The 'Pro's' need to check it all out holdfast/leaks.
cubastreet
If you can find someone nice enough to cert your work, it's pretty straightforward. A lot of fitters won't even look at other people's work tho, so check it out and find someone first.
CaMpylobacter
BAD get a proper LPG carb ndcam for her too, will be maccin... fuck at that price the cron could hit that kinda shit too
Leebo3
Ha yeah it seems sorta cheap. Just with the wagon, there is no where to hide the tank thats all. But with the crown you got a proper boot so it can be hidden away. Decisions decisions
CaMpylobacter
ditch the fuel tank, chuck it underneath with a flashing made up to maks it. run a small fuel cell alongside it in case you get caught without lpg in real terms you've gotta tune the engine for one or the other, to get decent performance... go nuts on lpg
Rusted
You only get good performance from LPG if it's dedicated. Maybe look into a wheel style tank. aka I've seen a series of smaller tanks in a carbon firbe shell making a long width but thin tank, very expensive option I imagine. I always though that if you ran a backup system with a standard 9kg bottle, you would be sorted. Although I don't think it's possible(Legally) or I would of heard of it. Rusted
Not missing out on much Cam, just a spare wheel shaped tank.
