But for a really good job, go see patrick auto trimmers, they did my whole interior and you just cant fault their work, tad more on the pricey side but worth it. Seedy Al Posted January 7, 2007 Share Posted January 7, 2007 they are easy to remove, once you have removed all the trim pieces, then you remove the front and rear screens. after thiss, you pul the edge of the lining down off the lip, and charfully turn the hood bows. I've gotten the front and rear off, but im stuck on the sides, it has little jagged bits supposed to hold in the lining, can you take that off or what? escort mk1 Posted April 9, 2007 Author Share Posted April 9, 2007 When i took mine out of the my mk1 i bent the rail thing above the rear quater glass out a wee bit and slowly pulled the lining out. but my lining was all sundammaged and cracked around the edges. I think the trick is just to take your time but if your putting a new one in then theres not much point. ALso if your going to put the old one back in you dont want it out of the car for too long because it will shrink and become very hard to put back in.
