Rightio

Got spark back! Had wired CAS up wrong, fucking stupid really.

So, I have now got spark and fuel, but I;m confused about the timing side of things.

If I set it at 10 degrees BTDC, that means wherever the rotor is in regards to the cap points, it will fire then right? So I want to make sure it is firing at plug 1?

This is what I have set it as, but when I crank it over, and then check the rotor again at 10 degrees BTDC, it seems to be at a different spot, is that right? It's just changing from plug to plug with the spark still sparking at 10 degrees BTDC?

I think that;s what it means but thought I'd check

Remember the crank rotates twice for every rotation of the camshaft (and the distributor).

You may find the crank will be at TDC (or 10deg BTDC) and the rotor will be 180 degrees out (ie pointing at number 4 cylinder instead of number 1 cylinder).
