J2Racing
Why not get them made it doesn't cost that much. If you know all your sizes cyl head specialist will wack you out a set. I wouldn't dump on burtons for there pricing. What there selling is top of the line. Buying car parts is like buying oats. If you don't mind oats that have been through the horse they are cheaper. Alot of their product is alot more expensive for exactly the same gear/brand elsewhere. plus they charge heaps for frieght and their service is shocking. d.p.n.s
yeh 8 valves oesnt weigh much and they wanted 40 punds for shipping
Gaz
Shit thats huge money. Why not put $500 towards a larger turbo? Then just run higher boost with less revs and youll be mint. Do valve springs perhaps but itll chew through cams.
J2Racing
Will group 1 valves help that much? EXAMPLE: Friend built up a capri motor to pretty much match a RS3.1 . Trouble is he only did half the research. The heads had huge valves but they where to big. Turns out under the rules that the RS was run under didn't allow any porting but valves where free. But when you port it with valves that big all you get is a set of heads that are flowed wrong. I could be right off the mark on this so if I am disregard it please. RT
thats weird.. we bought a set of big valves from Kelford Camtech last week for a pinto. Ask them again and don't ask for Gp1 valves, just ask for bigger valves.
Guest head_tech
http://www.esslingeracing.com/index.htm or for a cheaper easyer way I do know of a valve that with minimal mod's will fit into SOHC ford 2L PM me for details

Ask them again and don't ask for Gp1 valves, just ask for bigger valves. Yep that was their last set! Check out the inlet valves from a Telstar/626 FE 12 valve engine. They are 44.5mm and single groove IIRC. I used the double valve springs (spring seats need a small amout of machining)but they will coil bind with a decent lift cam. The mitsi 4G63 inlet valve is another common replacement.
