RT
Ok, 1 peice and 2 peice driveshafts. As far as I know the 1 peice shaft is stronger.. or at least, has one less joint that can break. However, the 2 peice was used because it minimises vibration. It's easier get a true balance from shorter units than longer ones, hence the development of the 2 peice.. I have a 2 peice shaft from factory in my capri. But I have to get it all modified anyway for the new diff and box, should I change to a single peice item or not? lowlancer
I've read, and been told a lot, that 1 pieces are a lot better, strength wise. Basic physics isn't it.
