Pressing the brake pedal makes the left hand indicator light glow, and indicating while breaking makes all the rear lights flicker on and off, and the light in the dash blinks too fast. Hemi Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 sounds like u have a short somewhere , opening the boot and having a good look at the wires , none of them shoul dbe touching or stuffed , the fast flickering sounds like one of ur indictors is blown , but given the other probs something mightbe grounding out somewhere , i has to redo the wiring on an escort the other day for wiring , and the same thing happened one of the wires had broken and was grounding itself in the boot Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dutch Posted May 3, 2005 Author Share Posted May 3, 2005 I just realised that I took one of the rear lights off a few weeks ago to put some foam tape around the edges to stop rattling sounds...
