  1. Ok, so it's a little like sanding, but with paint... neat. Is the primer a rust retardent, or does that go on after the primer?
  2. But what are they, exactly? I guess I'll just ask at repco tomorrow.
  3. What is etch primer? I'm very new to diy car stuff, if you haven't guessed already
  4. Forgo to ask, did you get the drill attachment at repco as well?
  5. Sounds like a plan _b
  6. I want to get rid of some surface rust around the edges of my doors, rims and boot corners, etc... how do I go about this? I'm guessing something along the lines of using a wire brush to scrape off the flaking paint and stubborn rust, then sand back the rest and paint over. Is there paint I can use that will stop the rust from coming back? (it doesnt have to look great at the mo, just do the job)

I just realised that I took one of the rear lights off a few weeks ago to put some foam tape around the edges to stop rattling sounds... Might have torn a wire or something I guess.

Recently my tail lights have been playing up. Pressing the brake pedal makes the left hand indicator light glow, and indicating while breaking makes all the rear lights flicker on and off, and the light in the dash blinks too fast. Guh? what gvies.
