rxtoy
you should get a spare nut when you buy your new shocks, if not then try a proper shock place to get it removed. the shock shop? did it for me for free when i couldn't get mine off cheers Matt
Hemi
its this big one i got a spare one but i cant ge teh other insert out without undoing it , the guy that sold my 1600 to me specialises in escorts (need proof i watched his son's escort shit on a gsr) he siad a largish cold flat chisel will do it so i'll try that on my other spare strut ...fingers crossed
Toucan
Im guessing you dont own one of the unique ford tools they speak of in the owners manual. Use vice grips
rxtoy
it took a pipe wrench and a 4 foot bar to get my old struts out of the lancer, and thats after 3 other suspension places gave up (with red faces) and sent me onwards. mitsi did use some crappy 1mm thick heads on the strut retaining nuts back then though, stupid idea, 24" crescent just bent the edges up.
