  1. Yea that was pretty cool. Free food as well which is a bonus
  2. I have a 21st this weekend to prepare myself for the onslaught
  3. Im pretty sure more people turn up when the weather is shit
  4. What you going to use it for? Drift? Curcuit?
  5. Seen this on the tard. Looked like a mean deal
  6. Updates and shit. Finally got a pair of tires onto the Riversides. And chucked them on the front. Poos pic but i am pretty much in love with them. Started assembling my dash/interior and got my seat mounted. And bought one of these fancy brackets which moves the throttle cable underneath the throttles rather than over the top. And had to mill out a bit of my intake manifold to make it fit. So pretty much ready for wire up. Quick question. The rear section of my driveshaft is 20mm too short. I was thinking about machining up a spacer which locates in the spigot like a normal one does. Would this be a problem? Any reason i shouldn't do it? Would be using high tensile bolts obviously and would be making it a very snug fit.
  7. Ive got same size wheels on the front of mine with 185/55s. Have extended my lcas by 30mm and have maxed out my camber plates. Oh and rolled the shit out of my guards. For the rear i will have to make new guards.
  8. But they will look lush. And they were cheap. So meh
  9. Shit ill have to fight everyone off for them
  10. 8s fit on back. Just. Might just hack the rear guards off and make some new ones up.
  11. Done some more things and stuff over the weekend. Made some hori as mounts for the radiator out of a pair of old bump stops, works a treat though. Also finally got round to assembling 2 of my riversides. Will be putting tires on this week. So now i dont have a very big list until it can go to be wired up. List includes: -Modify seat rail and fit seat. -Fit surge tank and buy another pump. -Get new rear half of driveshaft made up. -Buy and fit hoses for radiator. -Get my intake manifold to fit. -Possibly make up some sort of exhaust -Gearbox, engine and diff oil. Coolant. And bleed the brakes and clutch. Probably more stuff i missed but will find out when i get to it. Discussion: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?showtopic=33618
  12. I dont even know where any of those places are but it sounds rad.
  13. Instead of buying things like engines, diffs, things i actually need, I bought these instead. 15x8 -16 and 15x8.5 -23. They are 5x120 so will need to run adaptors, which will hopefully get them to sit where i want them to. Have decided to go NA 1j, then after its running/certed ill chuck some ITBs on.
  14. Also, what time do we plan on getting back to CHCH on the sunday?
  15. So i have the choice to buy back my old 1jzgte for the price i sold it for (ie cheap). But that means i would want to go r154 which = $. Should i? Or should i go NA 1j?
  16. When are the peps that are flying down arriving? Need to book my flights
  17. Spent the last couple of days helping a mate convert his Ke70 drift car from leaf spring rear end to 3 link after he had a crash. Then rushed to Ruapuna for a bit of testing.
