  1. and this is how she left me, thanks for looking http://www.flickr.com/photos/66405632@N02/8727045338/
  2. Along with my amazing photos :rofl here's some HD vids http://www.flickr.com/photos/66405632@N02/8725900895/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/66405632@N02/8725903887/
  3. Tried again My little helper again More night shot efforts but potatoe Took the plate off and added a rear spoiler I planned to polish the rear wheels so just rushed the black lip thing and it suffered but I still liked it
  4. Started driving it to work to see what needed to be done...brakes was one thing that never really worked well :/ But it felt nice and was lower Got my front lip back on Threw the wheels on and lowered it some more Did some more of this Tried to take some pictures but my potatoe didn't want to play
  5. ...So I had a problem. Not wanting to run a thinner tyre size because I planned to widen the wheels in the future and worked out these would be perfect on there I got to work with a roller. I worked on it slowly, trying to keep the arch lip as vertical as possible I think I did well. and then The front fitment of upgraded parts gave me so much shit I was happy, after re-arranging the rear shocks for the car, to find only a massage was needed. Then it was out My boy doing work Next day drive time!
  6. Then I finished polishing up the Starsharks and up put paper all over the back closet, paint booth! They came out like this Then we moved house All the crap in the outside storage cupboard finally had somewhere to go Cleaned enough So the missus went away for a week and I took the oportunity to take over our lounge with all my spare wheels, parts and greasy stuff so I could get the car into my new shoe box. couple of shots during Old rear New rear Old front legs out New front stuff First time off the stands After finally getting everything off and fresh things back on I started to test fit wheels to see if my calcs were right. Yep.
  7. I ended up selling this before anything good was done and is nothing on any of the builds here but may be interesting anyways Picked up a set of these <3 Wheel from some 4x4 and this shifter I hacked up using mountain bike handle bars Winter came Got some mint fishnets which I've always wanted, also never used :rofl At this point I had already found some lowering springs for the car but decided I wanted to get decent coils that would really get the car to where I wanted it so I got a set of these S13 badboys mixed with some other parts from murica. So then it was search time for the S13/S14 parts needed to convert to use the fuckers. I picked these things up. I then found the brakes were having a few clearance issues on my 14's, mainly on the back of the wheel centres. I knew spacers wouldn't be an option due to the longer S13 LCA's and my calculations for where the wheel would sit soo after some massaging... With all the parts hanging around and more to come I realised my "garage" needed a clean up. ..tbc
  8. Changed the oil, oil filter, air filter to a k&n and flushed radiator, looks a little better in there anyway
  9. Got my sleepy eyes on, happy with the install as I thought I wouldn't be able to find anywhere without wrecking the dash, works as normal or sleepy mode, lights eitherway. Getting onto the wheels again today so will hopefully have them done shortly and someone is interested in my wagon so may have big updates on the way/moneys Oh and engine bay for Nic, CA18ET (?right) not DET like I was told, didn't even look in the bay until this week lol
  10. Yeah yeah all good, I know the difference but as far as offsets go all I know is they can take wide negative offset wheels, no specifics... It's just the only z I've seen lately with no flares that is pretty awesome all round imo. Just look at a distance and don't break it down cunt!
  11. Thanks for that info? Height, wheel and arch wise it still applies and is what I was trying to get across
  12. Can you get them pretty easy in nz now? The blue one has way better fitment now but I couldn't find the pictures, still doesn't have flares and the wheels are refurbed. Looks tits. Will have a look at home on my laptop
  13. You can get these pretty low without spindles, get your torsion bar on! Nice little bettle
  14. Sure you've seen these but they're worth it http://www.motormavens.com/2009/10/cent ... -s30-240z/ http://seeninjapan.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/zcar.jpg http://www.loxlee-loves-engines.com/blo ... -front.jpg One of my dream cars man, soooo jelly
  15. Sweet aye, still not into mis-matched wheels but after looking around I can see why you'd run them, so many pairs vs full sets for sale. Can't wait to suss out some proper wheels later this year Raining today so I drove the silvia in, guy in a car had the WTF face going on after I'd pass him then roll full circle around the large roundabouts before going the same way and passing him again. Getting the feel of it though, I can nearly slide all the way then carry on off the roundabout, so fun
  16. Got one wheel done, but am not happy with the finish so I'm gonna sand it back again and give it a go with a mop on grinder steez. Going for mirror and it didn't happen with a rag and elbow grease Sore fucking arms this weekend Before / After
  17. ^This, they really suit it well. Haven't seen them on an e28 before, nice one
  18. Shit that looks good, I came to your humble little garage with brad and sam once when the car was at the stage (i think) of the first page, to see it done is fucking awesome, congrats man!
  19. lol, rag needs changing bud^ Didn't see that was two different cars, thought one side was white, the rest multicoloured. Now just read all the posts, gunmetal sounds good
  20. So Friday was a good day, got some wheels and my boy took his first steps! Win. I've got another set on the way mid next month but both sets are temporary untill I sort yahoo.jp out. I'll be cleaning them up and polishing the shit out of them and painting the "barrels" gold as it shows nicely through the windows/slots. Cleaned both the bitches today and got another pic for fred. Same old but hey... This month I'll be finishing the wheels and swapping in the suspension, sort of decided I'll be chopping the standard springs I have and get it low, then have the 40mm lowering springs for MOT's until coilovers. Also fixing the rusted front lip brackets and a tiny patch on the boot that I found today Wheels Gave them a real quick sand and autosol. Will get a mirror polish after a proper job Tyres are the ones that came with the wheels so will sell them if someone wants to buy or throw them away, plan on running wide, low profile tyres to make up for lack of width/offset, think it'll look cool Washed
  21. I rekon if the cars gonna stay white, do them white/polish up the hubcaps, will look fooly seck
  22. Yeah those cunts aye. Will get a pic once I do a clean up/semi tuck/paint. Been shiiiiiiiit weather here lately and haven't been able to swap the springs in and tidy things and stuff, still on the lookout for wheels but might have an option for yahoo.jp. If that happens, BAM
  23. Shit that's one of the nicest startlets I've ever seen. Really like what you've done and keen to see it with the coilovers in and down Could you message me some info on what parts etc you needed for the conversion? I assume it was just old struts, coilover sleeves, revalved shock and springs?
  24. Small update. Managed to score a set of 40mm lowering springs and front shocks for 40! Will be a good upgrade and some lows since my current springs are pretty rusty. The shocks I have already are newish so will be swapping the springs over after giving them a clean up and may send the legs away to get remade with proper low springs if I don't do a s13 swap, still haven't decided. While picking these up I also missed the auction for the set of wheels I wanted, for the second time. mad&happy.jpg
  25. Yeah thanks man I've been perving on there a lot, when I first saw the car for sale any time I searched anything that site came up, it is a fucking gold mine. I'll be using their diys for sure. On a side note, I cracked a sweet deal, searching for things and stuff I found a set of 40mm lowering springs with front shocks for 40 Picking them up tomorrow. They're in a lot better condition than my currents so cheap as fuck upgrade + a little lows = small win while I get parts together for proper lowerage Yoeddynz - Checked the site out, holy shit did you see this, fucking want http://exile-rotorsport.com/viewtopic.php?t=2143
