The b1600 or early courier is a close swap and requires minimal modding. All mazda ute and courier heads fit up to 2000 something. The common ratio is 4.8 but the 4.1 from a b2600 is also readily available. Not to mention cheaper than the hilux heads... Youll be very lucky to get a rn25 hilux diff for cheap but if you manage to get one go for that. Better after market support. Brakes wise im doing the rear set up from an early Ford laser tx3 4wd turbo. 247mm solid disks with the rear calipers. B1600/courier youll need to machine the centering ring down and redrill the 4x108 pattern.

So the coilovers didnt happen, mainly to me seeing some capri struts.... Ive also purchased a complete brake set up from a ford laser tx3 for the sum of $30. Score. So my rears are sorted. Ford laser tx3 rear calipers and sierra rotors. Have also sold the BPT and mx5 box for a hefty sum helping contribute to the escort! Checklist for this weekend: 1) Tidy welding up and bog 2) Organise diff machining 3) Capri strut prep for coilovers 4) Order K-mac 24mm anti-roll bar Cheers guys. Sorry for no pictures!
