I have a bit of a dilemma, i recently removed the centres of some SSR MK2Rs to sandblast/paint/clean barrels etc, just finished polishing the first one and thought about putting the centres back in. So i tried it, and o noz they dont fit! I have a centre sitting in the freezer hoping to shrink it in, anything else i could try in the meantime? Dont want to scratch my shiny winy lips.

ah right i didnt think about the gap, theyre not that big but the shroud may not fit .. ill go out and measure my fan for you now might help you out in some way EDIT Its 6x30cm. so its pretty small, and the shroud is 10cm deep from radiator to edge.

RE: the fan. why dont you get one that bolts onto the water pump pulley and the shroud that covers the radiator? does the job for my 30, takes a bit to heat up but it doesnt worry me.

I did think about airflow but didnt think it was crucial - i dont really know anything about wiring or car stereo systems, at the moment it is just under the passengers seat but it doesnt fit very well cause the amp is massive
