I've been messaging @cressy who said he used some Starlet shocks, just waiting to hear back from him.

Only concern was whether they were a direct bolt in or not as I am no mechanic, willing to give it a go as long as it is straight forward though!

he lives in the states now and doesn't come on here so you probably won't get a reply

A bit bigger than what I have, but if no one else has one you can get one new for about $90 from trade tools

Yeah I've had a google, trying to avoid buying one for the 30mm of thread I want to clean up. all else fails I might just try putting a new bolt in it and call it good.

yeh i hear what you’re saying - i’m stoked that basically all classics are worth more, but selling and buying the same sort of cars in the same market you don’t win right?

but anyways - that yellow series one on trade me huh?

Not sure why that guys banging on about how many kms its done, it has what appear to be RX4 gen housings with the big Mazda font so isn't the original motor.

Didn't think s1 got the 6 port, or had those seats, but I'm not a rx7 barry.

Late S1s had those seats; I thought it was only a 1980 year thing (mine had them) but that car suggests otherwise.

Its a shame it's missing the fender mirrors, looks like it has covers over the mounting holes in one of the photos. Savanna badge shouldn't be on the right guard, only on the left from memory. The twin chrome piping across the dash and the door cards is a Savanna thing (probably check that out as the plastic chrome peels off and looks patchy)

TBH the biggest bugger is that it doesn't have the tartan interior trim
