  1. but you know have the link ,wouldnt a set of black tops and your mates inlet give you some more power going by using tps for power also try a std altezza clutch and pressure plate thats what i use ,trick is double strap the pressure plate
  2. why dont you just spend the money and get the 2 stage sorted with a dyno tune or get some 48mm quads and 1 manifold and go quads ,that has got to be better and then bolt some 2 stage on it
  3. mine are on a angle to give more caster
  4. or ask rookie ,he seems pretty clued up on k20 motors etc
  5. well try kelfords and ask them they will be able to help
  6. and you didnt answer my 1st q on the rocker arm geometry
  7. look for ra60 and ra40 should be the same
  8. and dave you can buy a kit that bolts to your rear end and you can re lower your rear trailing arms .they have 2 new positions for the traling arms to attach 2
  9. the k20 has rocker arms are you sure if you work out the ratio that they have the same as direct on bucket as in 260 to 320 duration or are you looking at the high cam and not the smaller 1 most cam on buckets are 1 to 1 ratio the k20 might be 1 to 6 ratio etc
  10. just had a thought ,with all the racing that you have been doing ,i would take it out and get it checked for cracks especially since it was done in the 90s
  11. clean it up with petrol and use the toyota packing sealant that they use on the sumps to blocks ,just make sure the inside is real clean and smear it all around until dry ,this will stop the leaks,or take it out and get it sealed up with more weld
  12. the honda would have a different rocker ratio than the direct on bucket set up

    Gear oil

i use 50 /50 1 litre of dextron 3 and 1 litre of 80/90 for my race car box with syncos and works well
  14. ok have finished off the front of the car with grill and head lights with new lenses for the front bar and have put the canards on the side of the front spoiler . also have roughly fitted in carbon race seat to see for height and leg room
  15. no they were designed to fit onto a 33mm bucket ,also running a 98lb spring seated
  16. easy the cams i have at the moment are 560 thou lift with some vvti on inlet and 540 on the exhaust pearce has a set as well
  17. yeah thats real good the best we have had from a beams head is 340 cfm at 550 thou lift in 28 inches
  18. and the biggest quads i have seen on the hondas is 52 mm
  19. is the honda k series motor running the cam direct on bucket or do they set the cams the same as sr20 with hydrolic rocker arms
  20. just make a mount behind the seat for the tank and box it in ,so when the seats not in you can get to it easy
  21. so where you have the tank in the pic ,can you still put the seat in ,also with the full lock and the weld in sections ,did you take the springs out of the shocks so under full brakes the tyres wont hit and scrub the new tyre wells
  22. put the oil tank behind the passenger seat and box it out with a lid on the top .that way you can have the best of both worlds .my tank is only in the front passenger side tower as i need weight there to try to balance out the weigh tof car with me in it
  23. crank bolts need loctite on threads to stop oil going onto flywheel
  24. look at those axles dave and compare them to the disc brake rear 1s also the rear ends are alloy .this 1 weighs in at 60 kilos with brakes and center .the other 1 with the group C brakes and rotors is 85kilos
  25. ok up dates with cambered rear end is in ,this rear end takes 3 litres of lsd oil and weighs 25kilos lighter than the other F series with big axles and bearings with the brakes .have now fitted the dry sump tank ,finished of the rear 1/2 fuel line from the tank to fire wall,.. finished the rear brake lines to the rear end etc have also done the radiatoras well
