  1. Ok so do we pay for our ferry tickets directly to Inter-islander or do we pay you (O.S)??
  2. Caramel/beige would look nice. Or you could go crazy and paint them fluro pink or something? one other option would be dirty old black to go with the dirty white paint.
  3. So here they are, Made in Motueka, Price was Amazing, 1 week turnover & top notch workmanship. Webs hot-rod shop.
  4. No? I polished it with meguires colour X. then with Meguires Gold class polish. Its amazing stuff.
  5. Oh yea. I rang Elite in chch and they wanted 75+gst per wheel so thats like $350 for all for then they wanted another $150 freight and 3-4 week turnover. Got them done by a local hotrod builder $220 for the 4.
  6. Mine are 9" all around. I dont know what offset. but they look to be about +10 all around. How much did yours set you back if you dont mind me asking?
  7. Haha I didnt think they'd fit under the guards but they actually fit/suit the Trump better than the Celica. Im looking forward to seeing that trump wagon of yours at the nats, With your widened steelies.
  8. So who likes dish?? I do!! I got these made for my Celica but they'll probably end up on the trumpy for a bit. mmmm 15x9... yum. Note sexy legs & Jandals
  9. Ah cheers man. Rust wise It had no lower front radiator support when i got it, it had all rotted away. so I made a new one and welded it in. The wof man was happy with that. other than that it had the trademark rust in the hatch which im currently sorting out. I haven't found any more major rust thank god.
  10. Discussion thread > viewtopic.php?f=18&t=32072 Today it suddenly dawned on me that I don't have a build thread for my Celica. I've had It for well over a year now. And its gone from project to daily driver and now back to project. Basically Ive always wanted a Celica XX (supra in UK) Since Gran Turismo 3 came out. I got this one by complete fluke. I was delivering some car parts to a local garage and i spotted it sitting out the back looking very sorry for itself (pics to come) I asked the owner of the garage about it. Turned out it was his mum's, he told me how its been in his family for 20 odd years, but it cracked the head and his mum thought it wasnt worth fixing so it had been sitting out the back of the workshop for 12 months. I had a nosey at it and was like "Awesome its a 2.8 and HOLY SHIT its manual too." Cutting a long story short I eventually managed to persuade his mum to sell it, I had to take her down to the workshop and show her what a state it was in. Threw a new head on it, flushed the radiator & its good as gold. So this is when I picked it up This is when it was my daily And this is it now... With DISH
  11. Project thread > viewtopic.php?f=17&t=32073 so.....
  12. Rite I did some research. And I tried all of repco's suppliers (atlas, auto supplies, stocks, SAS etc) Sadly none of them can help us. I could get them rebuilt but it would cost more than one from Enford spares. So the UK would be my best bet. When I lived in the UK I got most of my car parts from a place called Brown brothers (like repco but more trade based) Alternatively Ebay. Have you Tried your Local BNT?
  13. Bullshit repco cant get them, I work there I'll have a look when im there Monday and get you some P&A's. Sadly a lot of Repco employees are useless/cant be bothered/don't know oldschool cars these days.
  14. And im taking my triumph that I also have to put the engine & gearbox in. Better pull finger.
  15. I'd defiantly turn up to a car show to see cars that my dad drove! I love Everyday classics, Triumphs (and British leyland in genaral) Vauxhall, rover, ford, Hillman, Datsun etc. American V8 powered things just dont do it for me. But thats me.
  16. the MG's were directly behind my Triumph. And Nelson needs to have a carshow for "everyday/Cheaper classics" I reckon.
  17. I wish that 240Z didn't have a V8 in it. There was a few too many V8's at that show for my personal liking. But was still a good day.
  18. For wildat as he must have missed me: And yeah we should get around to organizing a Nelson meet before the Nats.
  19. Yep I was at the show and yep I was the one with the roof rack.... The only car with a roof rack at the whole show I may add and the only Triumph too. I went home at about 1.45pm.
  20. Saw Mr.Revhead turning up as I left. Was a good day, had a mean BLT from speights beer tent, Saw Alex & Hannah's Awesome viva. Watched some Burnouts (I have no idea why you would want to thrash the sh*t out of your car though). All in all was a good meeting.
  21. Ive just Sent some wheels to Chris Webby in Motueka, Getting some 15x6s widened to 15x9, I'll put up some pics as soon as i get them back.
