  1. Ha, I was at this event last year but had no idea that you were those guys It was a pretty choice day.
  2. Fork is on the passengers side on a t5, thats his problem. I would try and run it close to the right hand strut tower away from the exhausts and then loop underneath the sump. Its easy on the mustangs because the drivers side is the same side as the clutch fork being left hand drive and all. My mum has a tickford mustang factory converted in australia, If I was in New Plymouth I could have a squiz and see how they re routed it on there. (although I fear It has a very long cable as the pedal has a strange feel compared to my car which is essentially the same but still left hand drive)
  3. Thanks for all the help kpr, this simple fix has completely transformed the car when driving at low speeds. It only cost me $5 to make alligator clips and $20 to get new feeler guages after I left my flatmates ones on the throttle body when I went to get the alligator clips EDIT: For anybody reading this in the future who have the same problem. I had to unbolt the throttle body from the manifold so that I could get a screw driver in behind to undo the screws on the TPS sensor without wrecking them, just a point to note.
  4. sweet, will test further tomorrow after I get some aligator clips
  5. I've finally got around to checking this out. Took it for a drive with the TPS unplugged and it was way more driveable. Got the following readings: 0.00mm VTA/E2 760ohms 0.35mm IDL/E2 0.9 ohms 0.59mm IDL/E2 1.0 ohms open VTA/E2 3.6 kohms anywhere VCC/E2 4.3kohms They are all good except the 0.59mm value, that should have no continuity but I have 1ohm. Have been using this webpage for reference: http://www.ae92gts.com/ae92gts_tps.html If it is meant to go to no continuity at 0.59, and the website says that as you open the throttle the resistance should increase, it should have no continuity from 0.59 to open right? So if I put my tester on it and slowly open it right up, it should go to no continuity at some stage right? And if it doesn't does this mean that my TPS sensor is likely stuffed? Hope that all kinda makes a little bit of sense to someone. I'll do a bit more testing tomorrow when I get some proper aligator leads. Turns out DSE totally sucks now and has sweet fuck all in the way of actual electronics. Will hit up Jaycar tomorrow
  6. yeah keen to see what it looks like after its been attacked with a steam cleaner!
  7. There is nothing more awesome than getting home and finding that you have roosted mud alllllll over the car you are towing I hope it rains, and you take your camera EDIT: Reading that back, "nothing more awesome" is a pretty big call... but it is still pretty awesome
  8. This popped up in the trademe hilarity thread a few days ago lol Looks pretty ambitious but will be mean when you get it roadworthy! Good luck!
  9. giz haha will need spares for finding the limit of what the sooperdoopercharger can achieve

  11. 4 pages in 1 go! What the..how'd you..but its..
  12. Make sure you check your piston to valve clearances after you have had it skimmed if you are taking a bit of meat off
  13. I reckon it would be a lamp post hunter. Not to mention I think it looks like shit. Not trying to offend. Just my opinion
  14. haha hilux front diff idea actually has some merit...
  15. Similar idea Turn diff upside down, get mates to tow you really fast, grab handbrake, drift into kerb. Repeat on opposite side. Turn diff up the right way again. Boom - Negative camber
  16. You could make a sweet beam axle setup with CV's at each end. Tis a crazy idea though
  17. Fuck yeah! I should build a duratec mondeo to fight with you
  18. Yeah man that looks seriously lucky that it wasn't a fire. Pretty gutting though. How much of the loom is damaged?
