  12. Cheers man yea I cant believe the amount of attention it gets. Im sure its caused a few neck injuries from double takes haha Wheels are equips 14x7.5 -8 and 14x8 -14 The 8s fit perfect exactly flush with the guard and no rub at all. Just lots of smashing noises from the diff hitting the chassis rails cos I took the bumpstops out algud
  13. Cheers man. Its scraped off a bit when i pushed the head unit through the hole but apart from that its not bad. Dosent get touched much though. I suspect it would scrape off pretty badly if it was in a place that gets touched more. Some better paint would probably help, I just used what I had lying round. The white paint that it had been painted with previously was pretty hearty didnt chip when I was sanding it with the scotch pad. It was a super thick coat of paint so maybe that helps. Meh. Ill stop rambling now
  14. Hey man loving the car. nice job with the intercooler, sweet that there was already a good sized hole in the bumper for it
  15. No real reason for updating just a couple of pics
  16. seeing in in the snow made me realise how filthy my matt white paint is
  17. Sweet! love the 2 door wagons get a slant front
  18. Picked up these yesterday, stoked! They are for a starlet but Ill rebuild them on my struts and sell off what parts I dont need. Camber tops may already be spoken for but anyone interested in shortened struts for a starlet? Ill get some measurements of how much they are shortened later today.
  19. discussion: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=33788 To paint the dash parts I just scuffed the paint already on them with one of those green scotch pads. Washed the parts in the sink like washing dishes, let them dry propery Couple of coats of white undercoat, couple of coats of satin black. Just the cheap 7 dollar cans from supercheap, it turned out alright though
  20. Discussion thread has been requested so here it is! viewtopic.php?f=17&t=33729
  21. Pics with the 2inch blocks in Keen to go down another inch at the rear, 2 inches at the front but probably shouldnt as chch roads are so shit at the minute Also got pulled up yesterday with it in this state. I was expecting to get reamed with fines for stretch and lowness but got sent on my way with nothing. win! cop said he thought I had a flat tyre when he saw it drive through the intersection in front of him sills are at 100mm but theres structural business underneath that hang down a bit more black eye cheers Adrian
  22. Cheers Truenotch Did some painting urgh much better painted these bits as they were white also and my pink whith and shiny wheel I got for 30 bux. score!
  23. So decided to start a build thread for this to document my progress or lack of Its a 87 ke70 2door. slant front which is what I prefer. yes sick mind I know! Got it road legal a couple of weeks ago after nearly 2 years of sitting in the back yard neglected. Wof list filled the page and comments section aswell Anyway pics cos thats whats up failed wof for stretch tyres obv. wagon space filled with steelies to make it lower for the pic/failed only an inch lower wheels are probably worth more than the car haha. looking at this pic it needs alot lower in the front bit of rust repair for wof body is beat up to fcuk but Im not worried about that. plans that may happen install 2t and t50 thats sitting in my garage lower front more with 2t/cut springs if that dosent work to my satisfaction have fitted 2inch blocks will upload pics when I find my camera cable sorry if this is the wrong section I dont really consider a slant front k70 oldschool and this is why I had to get it legal. drove it round for a couple of months like this
  24. yea it would make more sense if there was a specified max negative camber for cert
  25. keen to know how this rule applies to cars with non adjustable trailing arm irs. my 910 has this setup and has positive camber standard. does this mean I have to make my crossmember adjustable to remove all negative camber gained from lowering? cheers adrian
