  1. Yeah, what? Buy a Gameboy, it'd be more productive...
  2. Might have to take the Monday off at this rate...
  3. I love meat. Beer and Motorsport. Keen for Bathurat shenanigans.
  4. Should've just bridged the wires... Did you end up not being able to run at all? Dumb. October 12th is Bathurst so I'm thinking I might jump on that Wed 29th session.
  5. Id definitely keen for a twilight session in the next month or two. Before it gets too close to christmas.
  6. Oh man you guys are the shit... Going to be fucking cold tomorrow morning. Might be driving in the snow..
  7. Kick off about 9am. So just before thenish... Yeah I'm scrutineering and competing in the 156...
  8. I will not believe that unless I see it myself...
  9. An entire roll cage is being installed in one day? Your testing the sceptic in me...
  10. Would be awesome if you could, we're still short of volunteers, things are on sitting on the fence as to whether it will proceed or not...
  11. As usual, Mark and I will definitely be there, were locked in a duel for bragging rights atm and he's winning...
  12. Mark and I are entered. Normal entries close tonight atmidnight. Let me know if you need an entry form.
  13. Haha the amazing Alfa Twin Spark system. It managed to start another 3 times before I had to charge the battery to but yeah the lights were definitely fading...
  14. The big issue is that for Dual Sprints you are required to run the field fastest to slowest. Grids are supposed to be grouped together so that very fast cars and learner cars are not on the track at the same time. None of this was being done at all. There was a couple of incidents with some of the novice's running being lapped by much much faster cars, and being that the were MSNZ representatives attending and competing they couldn't be seen to condone this organization. I still had a good day, improved my PB and bet my previous PB twice carrying passengers, I only managed 3 Races before having to head home due to an alternator failure. Thanks Brad for the escort home, we made it back to the workshop with out any sign of missfire which was good.
  15. Sounds similar to the symptoms you get with air leaks, I have had this a few times on things like Navara's, once they warm up they're mint, the fuel lines go hard and brittle and open up around fittings and suck air instead of fuel. Being a Citroen it probably has that weird plastic supply hose. Try hand priming it if it still has one of those squeeze pumps before starting it next and see whether that makes a difference. But the surging over 3/4 Throttle doesn't really coincide with this thought, I am also not a diesel mechanic.
  16. Found shocks were all set to max hard except one. The wheel alignment Firestone did was joke. Pretty sure they didn't even do one. Hopefully will be an improvement... Ah sweet. Looks like I'm driving down early again...
  17. Hopefully its a fine day. Need some consistent conditions to compare set up changes...
  18. Take the head off. Easy and gasket sets are cheap. Doing valve stem seals in place is just painful and unnecessary.
  19. Not to be a prat but this would absolutely need a cert and your list indicates option (f) same design of cylinder head and.cylinder block. as what gets you. That list is just over analytical way of saying that you need.to swap like for like. 4afe for 4afe. Remember its how LVV and NZTA interpret the rules that matters.
