sweet got the seat back yesterday so today i put it on plus the bits and pieces i repainted because i wasnt happy with them pretty happy with it So i think thats it except i think it needs a little more red. What do you think?

yup, every couple of weeks they have them at turners in mt wellington picked up my seat today, looks super choice. wil post a picture up tomorrow

went to an Police and Customs auction planning on buying shit loads of piss but walked out with this beaut for $42 thought it would look pretty sweet painted matt black and red, kinder like a hot rod style so i got to work painting shit all i had to buy was paint, sandpaper, grips and new suspension for the front which i got of a new 1, didnt take much modding to fit, just a bit of bending and a layer of paint a week or 2 later, i put her all back together and i must say, i wasnt expecting it to turn out so well got a phone call from the upholster today saying my seats ready so ill have a picture of that tomorrow which means by thursday it will be finished and ready for crusing

thats badass, ive always had a soft spot for these little cars with big power engines.

Cheers guys. Got some pins for the chain today at lunch so managed to ride it tonight, soon discovered a few bolts i hadnt done up properly lol. was weird to steer with, with the wheel being infront of the bars and all. heres a picture of the pinstripping on the guard (please ignore the poor sticker laying skills) does it need more pinstripes or should i just leave it?

As far as im aware, they are all the same doors, the only 1s that arnt interchangeable are if your trying to fit the 2 door model doors to the 4 door model and vis versa

nah the bike came with whitewalls. you can buy them at the bike shop pretty cheap, $20 each i think

just a progress report on the bike have painted most of the parts including the frame. pretty happy with the way the wheels came out, took forever to despoke and respoke more or less just have to reassembly it now which will be done in the next week hopefully. Just got to buy a new front spring set up. Also need to change the colour of my seat. Would vinyl spray work?

i cut the springs in my gx61 and it rides fine, you need to take about 2 coils out of each from memory. You can buy lowering kits on yahoo japan but i am yet to find an off the shelf lowering kit over here. You could always get custom springs, about $220 a pair i think

just brought this for $43, its not very old school but once i strip it back and paint it flat black with some pinstripping, it will hopefully will look as choice as them ^^^^

that happened in my ke70. we just brought new studs and welded them on, never happened again lol
