Lowered it today turned out sweet. Got enough travel all round and its sitting at 110mm. The front was a bit low so had to roll the guards pretty hard to stop guard rub.

Sexual colour choice man. Going to look mean! If I ever painted my car it would be a nice classic clour like that. Some subaru grandwagons or what ever are a sweet similar colour.

My 65 beetle doesnt have reverse lights. Jam heaps of steel wool up the exhaust. Then just let it eventually blow out after the wof.

Why not go all the way round to charteris bay or further? Sweet roads around there and you could stop at autum bradley park for a bbq or whatever. Theres no loop as such but driving the same road back is all good as not many people would have gone over there for a while? Just a change from the usual loop?

Got some tyres on the rears 225 50 15s and a 185 55 15 on the front. The backs good but I think the profile on the front may be a little small especially when compared to the rear. The tyre was an old one though almost bald. I think a new 185 60 15 may look better, slightly more profile. I need a 185 as its got the perfect stretch to keep the tread in the guard. What do you predators think?

Got all my wheels now. Just need tyres and low.

I heard a story of a guy going to get his car checked at vtnz. He was a mechanic so knew his shit but the failed him on on something stupid. He raged out and did a huge burnout inside the vtnz building and smoked the entire place out.

Saw this today, its got everything except wide wheels and lowering. Its going to be phat as when you do that. It looks a bit weird with stretch and wheels that are quite tucked, but you have to start somewhere.

Get some 14s i think man, carinas are a meduim sized car not a wee datsun or kp. 13s may look a bit small unless you have savage slam which will make it hard to drive.

Sanded the deck sides, put some marine varnish on, looks ok but tidys it up slightly for now. Also got a sweet hay bale for redneck pine! Although it has now been destroyed and was found all over cars in our street. Got one of my front wheels, the last one they had in stock so waiting on the other front and two rears. This is an 8j. Fender mirrors I scored also.

I corrupted with my measurements but have now got a 15 by 8 black steel thaat fits perfectly just out of the stock guard. With a slight stretch it should fit perfectly. Wondering what sort of tyres to run. After a wee bit of stretch with medium prenough to profile, ultra low profile will be to gay to get low enough to pull off, and i dont want balloons. Thinking 185 55?

I can get the steels in 0 offset also. Are the 195s slightly stetctched Jase? Could you send me the link to those broncos? I couldnt find them. Got those flares on my watchlist thanks mate.

8j on the front 10j on the rear sunshine. The 8s come in -22 or 0 I think, 0 might get tread under the guards with some stretch. Oh and I might put twin smoke stacks, spotlights on the roof and huge bull bars, and then go travelling across deserts at hight speed.
