  1. heya man. Im after door glass for both sides and winding mechanisms,the plates that the door rubbers sit in along the inside of the roof,steering colomn,VG headlights and buckets and grill,....possibly front seats too. Let me know what you have in the way of them parts dude. Thanks alot eh

If I had the money id fly down to gore and rip the PO another asshole,through his fuckin head. pretty much holding my other parts to ransom as I forgot some VIP parts for him,now he wont send mine till I send his....i can see where this is gonna go,so id rather get parts from other sources as I cant afford the plane ticket,or a rebreak of my hand again. Do you or your oldman know of any partsThe guy i bought it off is being a bit of a cock about the other parts he forgot (i forgot more). Might need offset booster,i gave him my remote one....VH44 i think it is,i need a VH40 apparently,and some VH/J vented rotors just for now. Im after a 9inch also,fuck going dyna,waaay too big and next to no parts around.
  4. Good fuckin plan. Got a ram lined up for it,and possibly a 11 3/4 inch dyna for the rear end. Looks like ill be tubbing it next weekend to for the Mickys I have sorted for it. Also got some 6pot brembo's priced up. Might be ready for mopars in meremere.
  5. sorry,forgot to mention. its a 69 VF coupe,same as 68-9 dodge dart,just different front and right hook. will be going tilt front,shortened 9 inch ford,twin 650 hollys with tunnel ram eventually.Maybe a shot of NOS when the budget allows.
  6. Finally got my new toy,after towing the ute on a trailer,loaded with 2 318/904 combos,4 doors,8 wheels with tyres and alot of other shit to wellington onto the ferry......never fucking again! Heres a few pics. its going to be a strip car at first,then I might turn it into a gasser,tilt front and shitnot totally sure yet. 440 magnum,727 trans,will have a ford 9inch soon. Im fuckin stoked,finally a real V8,not that I dont like small V8s,I just LOVE big-blocks
  7. yeah its got some rust,nothing major for me though. Ive got the sills being made as we speak,and the drop off under the front guard being made also. Just gotta get a trans,the cunt i bought it off said he was going to get it,now he reckons its gone missing,so some ones going to have a self induced headache in the next week if i dont get the trans,fukin prick junkie cunt. Plans for this car are it will be painted jet black,with silver bumble bee stripe over the boot,original padded/vynal roof to be redone. Hopefully a 360 will be found to fill the hole. Standard rims/caps and bands,just widened a little Im not going to go overboard on this one in the way of taking away from the originality,it wont be worth as much if i go that road. pretty boring build as compared to some of your guys wagons,but how many of these do you see round? its a NZ assembled,so no small back window,has the hard to find "V8" caps and bands and the brake booster on the passengers side of the car,dead give-aways for the NZ assembled VF. Anyways,more pics to come,as Ive gutted it for better inspection.

  9. scored a lsd yesterday,good plan,blew mine a few weeks back. Also scored scuff plates,new gasket set for the VF VIP im scoring next week (new build thread to come),got some new lekky window motors,bench seat,and a front screen rubber and chrome locking strip. Might still be for sale if anyones got a reasonable offer,regd andf woff with new eagers on the back. pics to come tomorrow

  12. heya man,yep its dogs nuts obvious driving around,gets alot of looks forsure. After painting it,i'll most likely let it go for around 5g or so,they sell for more than that just being a six,or 8g or so with a nice clean/tight 360 in it,which could be on the cards when the Zed sells.
  13. finally found the top grill for the ute,and raised it a bit,fuckin stupidly low,lost all my fillings under the seat,and got sick of pissing blood,lol. its getting painted next week after its warrented,and that fuckin XA ford piece of shit is gone from my garage,way over 200hrs of work and almost 7L of plastic magic has gone into it.Man I love the ute being reg'd as a farm vehicle...$20 odd for 3mths. pics to follow. Also may be selling it soon if anyones keen.

  16. Heres my latest score,not a bad old thing. Running 318 770 charger gear through it with charger shifter and dash,and Limo electric windows and front guards,bonnet,and the rest of the front.. Seems to go ok..........plans are for a 340 or 360 to go into it once I sell the Zed. Its a little too low for me though,like 50mm off the ground i think..........and the modgies
  17. Hiya Ammul. Id say its the master man,all it can be areally? If theres no fluid loss (or evidence of it).....then id go with the master cyl.If its been rebuilt for a second time by the same place..........just go get a second hand one and try that.........sounds like youll have a little more luck that way. Hope that helps (although I doubt it will) Hows the GS31 going? I still have to make it over to show you your old one.............oh......change your name,cause I dont own a rusty 260z anymore,lol. Just sold a couple of my old knives to a guy that came over in a stagea...with a VH i think it was...4.1 straight bolt in job,just driveshaft and tranny mount i think he said had to be fiddled with......and the wiring was a cunt also,he paid for that to be done. But man,what a nice car,old facelift model,skirts and shit......but the engine looked like it was a factory install,clean,lots of work room,and the sound was.......i'll say.....for me anyways.....quite bonerish.He got a Cima for 1500 hunds and both engine and tranz went in. Anyone else heard of this swap,and even better,a good reason to go for a alloy V8 instead of a RB26 with garnishings? I love my oldschool cars,but alike many of us,I have a wife and sprats,so I need (they need for my piece (singular of whats left) mind) a good reliable car,that I wont get sick of driving Verdict?

  22. Mate,its YOUR car,do what you want to do with it.If you had the fucking good taste to pick a ZED,make it YOUR Zed. They are way understimated these days,with the power to weight ratio of rotangs and SR's and RB's......id still rather have an L series for originality,or and RB if I wanted to inadvertantly wreck the car. Do you know alot of the S20 engine datsun used in the 432R? If not,take a stroll down datsun history lane and check that sucker out!!! A guy in the states made a head for one out of two heads,and it worked. The site is either hybridz.org or zcar.com..........wealth of info for the few Zed nuts like us. After taking my bitch out today,I dont want to sell it either,love coming into corners (dead end streets ofcourse) and letting it go sideways in second....................... Sounds like you had fun,exactly what the Zed was built for Definately go L28 forsure,much more fun over 4-5g revs (even though im having trouble getting mine to rev frely over 5g). I had a play with the orig AFM the other day,wound it up a little,and it only has earlier throttle responce,wasting same amount of gas no doubt I pulled in the drive in second gear without realising it and dumpd the clutch,it smoked up big real fast.........then I thought ("you meathead,duh,youre still in second after the heinous compression lock pulling up). I love Zeds man,youre addicted arent you......c'mon...you know you are,lol.
