  1. Boys turned 2 the other week... getting large
  2. got invited to this on crackbook... tried posting link didnt work... Meh! Cut n Paste it is... Hootons Reserve, Oteha Valley Road, Albany, Auckland 1pm-3.30pm This time last year, the staff at New Zealand Performance Car dreamt up the perfect way to kick off the summer season. We called it the NZPC Hardpark, and it duly kicked arse. Back for 2011, the NZPC Hardpark will be bigger and better than ever, with more people, more ...free Red Bull and ever meaner weather (hopefully). With some cool race cars on display, RC drifting, the Red Bull Hummer pumping out tunes and some mean prizes lined up for the top cars in attendance, there is plenty of reasons to make an appearance. This year, however, we wanted to take things a step further again, by adding a new dimension to the Hardpark experience and incorporating a swap-meet into the park up. So bring down your parts, wheels and car related gear and be prepared to do some serious buying and selling. Please be aware this is a car community thing, and not a place for you to try and flick off your vacuum cleaner, your secretly rooted parts, or worse, your stolen parts. No one wants stolen gear at this event, nor the people who've taken them. As always, we are setting up this meet to give everyone out there an excuse to get out, show off their rides and be social. There is no charge, but bring cash in case you spot a bargain! Please don't bring alcohol, drugs, a bad attitude or an urge to do anything stupid behind the wheel. North Harbour Stadium were kind enough to let us use this venue, and we'd like to give it back to them the way they gave it to us. There will be security staff on hand and the police are aware of the event. Hardpark Auckland and Hardpark Wellington helped make last summer one of the best we can remember, so make sure you come along again and get the party months off to the perfect start with NZPC.
  3. fuck... fell asleep on couch... lost a kid... blurry eyed, will bail out soon assuming I find the kid!
  4. have seating of the folding variety enough for 10-12 bottoms... will pop in back of my empty goon. if shed is to be wrecked not relocated can we decoarte it with magic markers and spray bombs? Internally for sake of neighbours having to look at it for days afterward... If no one wants it I know Tin Men do demolition... not sure if there is enough scrap value to do for free but could ask the proprieters on behalf if you like... Cant hurt to ask... http://www.tinmen.co.nz/services.htm I would love it but no spare moneys, times, gas, truck access etc blah (also dont own land lol... would my landlord mind another structure popping up?) would end up flat packed forever another incomplete project lol. Side note: if it does have to be demolished I would be keen on some framing timber... looking for cheap/free materials to build a wendy house for my girls for xmas... would be willing obviously to assist in demo.
  5. Whose this Chris fellow you speak of? Do you mean EURON8?
  6. Never too young man, always good to get out and about over summer with the kidlet/s. Any ideas on locations or approx when would be good? Like said anyone welcome, trying to include the fambily though...
  7. must be... pretty sure most places are OK if kept on leash anyways
  8. feck... I checked more than once to see if there was a meat on... scanning down page managed to miss the backwards titling... oh well Chrysler Tank Driver (lol) wheres pics?
  9. OK sounds like some good old fashioned family summer fun is on the cards then. BTW doesn't have to be peeps with kids only... just those who can tolerate other peoples kids at the very least... or perhaps couples thinking of making small people... (we may make them see sense!! )just be good to be able to incl the tribe in this type of activity (smelly old car ownership) its even got me thinking of selling something to buy something bigger for roadies etc... though a family of 4 can just squeeze into one of my cars, as long as its one that has a back seat!
  10. Any of you's have kids and get a bit of heat for having your selfish oldschool car that the family doesn't get much/any use from yet you continue to pour funds into... Been thinking of a way to combine being a dad with my rusty old cars and was thinking maybe a meet in the summer with other families at a park someplace would be in order... Bit of good old days type entertainment such as football/cricket/volleyball, playground, picnic/BBQ, getting to know other GC's with small peeps... if this doesn't sound altogether boring register interest and perhaps it shall happen... My biggest problem is I don't have anything old and legal with more than 2 seats but I'm getting close... have a 2yr old and 7yr old, both girls and they love daddys cars, even the ones that don't go. Actually especially the ones that don't go. Anyway just floating the idea... shoot it down or prop it up. Churr!
  11. like. will see if I can finish a chevette (or 2) would be mass awesome to have boe-rad mobile up and humming but alas casholeum is scarce (took it out for a hotlap to Muriwai and back... O for Orsum man, mean over taking mishes, sump met road in a big way due to forgetting wide steels lower it an inch )
  12. whoa... was bit more than my guess of 5hunge... I was quoted $80 to do an early Gemini guard... (zep ashape if that makes any diff)
  13. BDO 2hundy this year... not sure if I willing to shell that much out... how bout we all hire a venue and throw own gig? 2hundy would incl food/bevvies... and make profits...
  14. how do we fill up a big area though? the massey uni carpark worked well especially having that damfangled modern toyota group parked up top just to make things different/interesting/more to look at. how about other forums? Amazd and there has to be a forum for each other category.... then could fill huge area!
  15. will def bring some sweet homekill, not wasting a whole animal though lol... by this time we will have killed and frozen (if goes to plan) a huge kunekune boar, a bastardly ram that keeps attacking me (has big curly horns) and 2 spring lambs (nommmmmmmmmmmmmmm) and half a cow I have up at my olds farm. I heart meat.
  16. what about widening stock rims? (or is that sacrilege?)
  17. was the orange wagon yours? recognise it from back in the day... Not from Torbay area are you? As per above comments x2, love your work... some day I will get bum into gear and make my babies pretty too... inspiational workmanship right there, and lil maz too.
