  9. syp boes, I got some meke 3 piece rims but they are riveted together. I eventually want to clean them up properly as, take em apart get centres blasted and get bands fixed up and polished till they look new. My question is can I get the rivets drilled out and just whack some s/s bolts through or will I need to get them re-riveted? Chur, Dave
  10. yea centres are abit gay(paint wise). to do it properly the need to be taken right back. I will prob rock em on this for a while then throw them on the ute when thats on the road. The rims are 3piece but they are riveted toghether. when I get fix them up would it be all gravy to drill out rivets and whack some bolts through that shit?

  14. by drill holes everywhere in nearly every thing wouldnt that take a heap of strength out of alot of stuff. like the strut brace. wouldnt that flex heaps.
  15. are you trying to induce a "tipping" action in the spring, or are you trying to reduce bind in the bush that you use?
  16. respray in standard colours with no tints at all and absolutely slammed over a set of 15x10ish or or similar (by similar I mean huge dish, almost any centre looks good if its dished enough)
  17. simmons are sweet, but have a look around at some other wheel manufacturers. http://www.arrowwheels.co.nz/wheels/ ^there are a few sweet designs in there. Simmons have been done to hell. Edit: yeah I seriously looked at doin the conversion in a vc wagon about 6 mnths ago, all the articles on the internet said it was strait swap except from the box but there are heaps of supposidly "bolt in" conversions floating round the place that take a heap of fab work.
