Oh yea also found out yesterday that i blew the big end bearings in the red one, so engines defiantly getting swapped out for the other one now.

Haven't really started yet as moneys running kinda tight at the mo since one of my flat mates owes me $764 as she hasn't been paying rent. She then thought doing a runner would be a good thing to do, only she's dumb as fuck cos she's on the lease and she's going to be having a visit to small claims court soon. So the red Celeste has shit itself again. This time it wasn't due to random clutch changing at nats in a paddock..... actually fully died on way from Naki to Wellys. At this stage were going with a blown engine ftl but on a brighter side of life i still have a spare 4g32 from the orange beast

They ain't that bad now that i got them redone. Got the guy to build them up a little bit at the sides and some re-padding here and there. Couldnt do to much tho cos he would have had to change the pattern for the material and hes to lazy for that sort of shit

Sounds good to me. Like i said before, im getting most of the work done by a preformance mechanic so he should be able to do a good job. As for the keepiin it simple bit, im tryn to do that now, hence the no change in colour and no exsesivly hard out interiour i was planing. Should still be tuff as fuck tho

Yea i found a mean rust hole on the front left hand sill. someone had stuck a sack behind it, bogged over and painted it. That fuckin rofled me

Don't think the guys gana be using felt for it, though i have to go back and talk to him about it tomorrow when i take the door cards and shit in. As for the engine, i haven't got one yet but I'm getting hook ups there to. One of Flanges mates dads is a performance engineer so hes gana be helping out/ doing a lot of it. That starts in may so cant wait for that shit to get under way. As for the body, now that I'm leaving it orange, it just needs to have a bit of rust fixed and some touch ups done and she'll be all good.

Na it wasn't that expensive. I have hooks ups through a guy at work who did all that sort of shit for 30 odd yrs, and hes a G.C. At the moment he thinks he can do the whole car for under 2k That includes door cards, carpet, roof lining etc.
