Official line is no more than half a degree outside manufacturer spec, and if outside spec has to drive satisfactory https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/infosheets/LVVTA_Info_04-2012_Suspension_Camber_Angle_Guide.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjlsIeJr6qEAxVSiK8BHUbGArMQFnoECBgQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2TXa5XjvMsW-u1i31FFmeU

It was actually only 2 of us and the third guiding the fuel filler out of the way. But yes, it was heavy haha

Despite my original doubts, the one from the flat deck fitted straight up. Too easy!

What a day. Massive thanks to @Geophy for his skills. So good being able to see out the wing mirrors instead of staring at the front of the flatdeck...

Did ~800km over Waitangi weekend with @Geophy to represent commercial corner at Wagnats. Other than some underwhelming headlights and wipers making late night driving through torrential rain and gale winds rather difficult, it went without a hitch. Nabbed best non-wag, such an esteemed honour.

Heck this is cool. OS Nats 202x? -
Had a measure of my 14x6.5 Volk Mesh racing. Has two IDs; Inside (where centre mounts) is around 320mm, the larger ID towards the wheel edge is around 350mm.

Here are a couple of examples https://gtwheels.com.au/collections/14-lips-barrels I've got a wheel off on the bench at home (volk racing mesh, 14") so I can measure tonight as well.

What do the plugs look like when they stop working? It's not something silly like they are foulling up with oil?

This year's Christmas builds. One for my folks and one for the in-laws beach house. Excuse the mess... -
Woah, that was ages ago. The fine stead is still going strong. Can't remember what's happened but I've done around 4,500km since the Lifan swap. New carb day today, a Nibbi which is a brand I came across while down in Christchurch for Syd's Run. Fair few people were running them so I figured it was worth a shot. Looks the part and after initial testing it is significantly smoother everywhere. I'm calling that a win. Photo doesn't really show it but the carb is a matt black finish with nice anodised bits. Looks very sharp.

Yeh I'm a no go sorry. Logistics aren't panning out; I'm in the wrong island most of the week. -
Can confirm it should be yellow off the stator (looking at wiring diagram).

Cool to see another RD50! I believe the headlight power feed is seperate to the rest of the lights, I think I have a wiring diagram somewhere I'll see what I can find. Here's my RD https://oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/87461-beavers-yamaha-rd50/#comment-2559776

So I put in a new head unit a few months back (how good is Bluetooth, no more silly aux cords). Anyway, it soon gave me errors (check wiring) and would turn itself off frequently. Now I'm no wiring expert but like to think I can install a car stereo good enough. Rechecked all the wiring and connections, nothing obvious and no change in performance. Gave up for a while then the other day it was as repeatable as ever and would cut out once driving and then come back on when idling. So figured it may be voltage related. Threw the multimeter on and hey presto. That ain't right. Tracked down a second hand alternator and gave the same results, at which point realised it was externally regulated (facepalm) so concluded the regulator was bust. Given the corrosion on it, it seemed reasonable assumption. Tracked down a new one, and everything now does what it should (14.5ish V at idle) and I have consistent music!

Feel like a dweeb for asking, but adjustable damping shock absorbers (with a real obvious adjuster knob). Should I expect issues come WOF time?

Repost from coffee thread, but needed a tamper for my coffee machine. Learnt how to lathe and spun this up from stainless and an old door handle
