So turns out the injector pump isn’t doing it’s job and is only spitting out miserable amounts of the go go juice so something isn’t quite right. Going to try swapping over the fuel cut solenoid from the other pump to see if it’s the culprit. Plenty of fuel getting to it, just not out of it

Haha good to know. Maybe I’ll bolt it all back in on a rainy day/who am I kidding.

Still have this, just did a ~2600km trip down south over two weeks, was super legit. Van is a champ (other than its petrol consumption), no dramas at all. Has been pimped out a bit further since the last photos, including fake veneer flooring, set of drawers, and some legit curtains.

Had a sudden rush of motivation after getting back from a lush 2 week road trip down south (mostly as I'm sit of this hunk of crap block the garage haha), but also wagnats. Fitted starter, motor alternator (including all oil plumbing), power steering pump Plugged all the mystery wires back in. Plumbed in injector pump Swapped over lame ass rocker cover for the original one. Filled with oil. Had a crack at starting it, but cant get it to fire. I know little about diesels so not really sure on where to start.... In addition in actually making it work, also need to get a shorter belt for the alternator as I'm not longer running an A/C compressor (it never worked). If I can get it to start, then ill move on and chuck the front of the car back on and the radiator etc. No pics, because it all looks pretty much the same Discussion/help

My week has turned to custard so marginal at this stage if I’ll make it (getting on a boat on Friday) -
It wont rain. Just dont break down this time haha So looks like it might just be me on the midday convoy.... @KKtrips is about the only person I haven't heard from who I think would make it. Ill still be at the weighbridge at 12 regardless, an head out like a loner if no one shows. I'll probably go bush for an hour or two once I get there, so for those that rock up later on, just look for the shitty white hiace van (if no-one else is there)

Do autolign not shorten them anymore themselves? Ive had a couple of sets done through them, (both in CHCH an wellington). Pretty sure they just send them up to Auckland. Alternatively, our resident expert Manu @Steelies has done this for me in the past and may be interested in offering his services.

just don’t push the shock in too far? I’ve had shocks (mk2 Cortina as well) shortened enough so that this was a risk as well but once it’s all Together I’m pretty sure it’s physiaclly impossible for it to compress to much (I.e the spring will bind first)

We were thinking of ditching this months one (come camping you dicks), but if there are people keen then I don't see a reason not to have one. I personally wont be able to make it. Ill let the boss decide @Mourning Cupcake
