After a wee while aligning the cab on the chassis. Ive got it mounted. All the mounts were 10mm to the inside of the existing holes so i re drilled them and put some big washers on. Looking mint. NOw gotta mount the booster. clutch cylinder and radiator. then its wiring time

Ive been talking with a few Datsun wagon boys down here in Chch, And we might not be able to make it to 2011 but mad keen for 2012. Once my 1200 wagon is on the road im keen as for north island missons and Brendan who dropped in on last years wagnats in his 910 has nw got a sweet b310 sunny wags.

Yeh i just intergrated the 521 into the wagon thread. just my collection. Yhe ampd to get into the wagon now i gota big compressor so i can sand and paint the wagon myself. We keen as to mish up to wagnats Might make up a sweet steel roof rack with nice timber slates for my suitcases for wagnats! Keen as to get more involved with Oldschool guys as well as the Datsun boys Still @ Designline. They are still going which surprises me a bit. But im still enjoying it. Al still cracks me up with hsi ranting and hunoverness evryday Better get back into the 521

Here is what ive been up to this week. Brought a 720 with Z16 and column change with disc brakes Removed the 521 cab and the 720 cab and about to mount the 521 cab on the 720 chassis. Should keep me busy this week but everything looks to be lining up nicely

The wagon will be on road @ end of summer. The 521 will be back on the rd in a month after Chassis swap with 720 i just brought

I wont bore you with the many garages ive moved my wagon to and from. But ive recently brought my own house and in turn a sweet garage. Ill put some pics up of the wagon in its current state. The CA18DET and all the adj suspension has been in and running and removed for paint. Im currently panel beating and getting it ready for paint. Still got the KH330 260C coupe. Brought a 69 521 Ute also which is my daily when its not giving me grief. Mrs has got a 78 Datsun Cherry with 14x6 Hoshinos and front lip spoiler. Got a new engine for that too whcih is getting bike carbs on it. Enjoy

Here is my sidetrack project . Picked it up from the swap meet for a steal and managed to get the fairing and all the lights and other bits to complete it. Hope to have back together next week and start buring out to work on it. I hope not to spend too mcuht ime away from the 1200 wagon Will get some more pics up later

Yep, Water to air cooler for me. Progress. gonna take it back to work for the weekend and work the rear quarter a bit more, and stich in last couple of sill section panels where the rust was hiding. then off to the painters soon!

I took my rusty Datsun720 ute there 4 months ago and they past it with a 1 metre gear lever with piston on end, one and half leaf springs in the rear which had all bent ,2 inch blocks, basically on bump stops all round and ill he failed me on was a cab mount rust and a tire which i swapped with spare, Ive been goin there for years and they been sweet!

This is the last one, Its got a L18 in it My favourite part of this ute is the shifter It gets me to work and can throw car parts and tool boxes in the back and the dirt bikes.

Here is the Paddock find KH330 Coupe, Alot of rust! have owned it for year now and its now sitting in my mates backyard awaitin patiently for me to finish the wagon. Plans are to VH41 twin turbo, Im building it with my brother in law whos is a Porsche Mechanic by day and myself a Coachbuilder by day. Got some Brake parts and a Terrano diff for it so far. Fabricated a new tunnel, A custom X-member also sump notch. In the process of taking every panel back to bare metal and fixing rust and will end in full respray in orginal burnt orange.Suspension will be 280Z struts and brakes with adj coilover conversion. Hilux lsd in the back running discs as well. Wheels are 13x7 Jilba racing wheels,very JDM. Water to air intercooler setup and CA18det bluebird radiator. Hope to have it done be Feb 08 for the Datsun club meet at Southern Festival of speed.
