well this is what happens when you drive down an unfamiliar road at night in the rain with a chin spoiler that you completely forgot you had. speed humps somehow come at you pretty fast when you dont know the road. im not really to fussed and considering the little effort i put into fitting it and only being held on by cable ties, it hasnt come out too bad. will angle it more flat to give me a bit more clearance. -

heres tonights progress folks. refitted the bumper and thought i would have a go at my chin spoiler. take one legacy boot spoiler, add some paint and cable ties and this is what you get im pretty stoked with the outcome so far and its relatively sturdy. will drive it over the next few days and see if it will hold on. if it does decide to let go, it only cost me $1 so i wont really care -

well finally pulled myself off the couch and fitted my lowering blocks. i know its not the best or most effective way to lower it but its the cheapest and easiest way to do it, so there. before during after no more muscle car rakeness -
i very much doubt its the ecu itself. if you can get hold of a service manual for this engine, it may be able to tell you how to chech the ecu for fault codes and this should point out exactly what is wrong. failing that take it to an auto sparky and they should be able to tell you pretty fast

try getting some contact cleaner and giving the airflow meter a clean. also check the coils and plugs are not stuffed. maybe check the oxygen sensor to.

im not removing or flipping any leaves, too dodge. i would love to have it scraping the ground, but it needs to be practical. i use it on road trip to lug my bike around as well as a parts hauler. the king springs i got will drop it enough in the mean time. if that fails ive got cuttie from my sedan i really need to look into widened steelies for it and get some stretch goin

got sum 2'' blocks for it, so will sort that out soon. will also fit my low kings in the front. would love to go crazy low for mad boso STZ, but then i couldnt thrash it round the port hills if anyone has any parts, hollah at your boi!

since getting it, i have fitted some 14x6 gold mesh wheels and changed out the auto for a 5speed manual from my previous 910 sedan. goes heaps better and uses alot let fuel this is what it looks like now. decided to refit my fender mirror which some tard had snapped off. this was the resulting damage. not overly bad, but still not pretty. well, pulled the guard off, which was not overly fun, due to nissans over use of glue on the seams got the hammer and dolly out and in 15min, it was much better. reallly needs a touch up of paint, but im not that fussed. then, i changed the grill from the standard flat one to the sss honey comb grill. so much better looking. also fitted a JAF badge. now i just need to find my japanese number plate. will post up some more pics later in the week once im finished putting it all back together and given her a wash

well judgying from the last one we had, it will take anywhere up to 3 hours to do the trip through lyttleton and over gebbies pass. this included waiting at the yacht club, stopping at the top of the hill from sumner, both the governors bay and wheatsheaf pubs and again at the sign of the kiwi. 1130- 12 would be a good time for you guys to meet if you do this one, but i would suggest earlier if going to akaroa. longer to trravel and more pubs meens more time needed

well, luck would have it, im going down to invercargill this weekend for a block course. so im out sorry guys, have fun and take lotsa photos

lowering front of car...best way to get right height?
dirty_leppa replied to Beaver's topic in Tech Talk
if you do it that way, make sure the tyres are inflated correctly, otherwise you'll get incorrect measurements
