Theres about 1 million different versions of this trans from the simple mechanical versions to full electronic 6 speeds of today there all loosely based around the same thing. If you get a turbo 2jz, 1jz or some uz ones they have extra clutches, theres basic diy mods you can do to up the pressure and make it punch through the gears real hard. Theres a heavily modified one behind a 10sec 1jz in Australia so they can handle the punishment pretty sweet.
Is the one your thinking of using from the 7m I sold you? because good luck controlling the shift without an after market controller or some hefty trans/micro controller knowlegde. Seems like the hard option when a w50 is not much more than a couple hundy
