this is gona be pretty mean when its done. bit of work in it no doubt. Just mount big single turbo through the bonnet.

Been super lazy recently and havn't done anything for about 4 months. Have got manifold on now and link 95% wired up. Brought a radiator this week which only squeezes in by about 2mm. Going to have to redo pipe into throttle body so can connect top radiator hose. Aim to have car running and road legal in two weeks so need to get off my lazy arse and do some work. I want this going so i can finally get to work on my starion.

i just drilled a hole in my clutch pedal and a hole in the firewall and chucked the starion clutch master cylinder in my ex. Worked fine for me but maybe a little rangi.

Picked up the link today. Just waiting for the manifold to come back now. So its time for out with the old. And in with the new

Went into speedworks today to see how much a link g3 would be. they don't sell them anymore so ended up buying a g4 link. should get that in a week or two. hoping to get manifold back this week and can get it all ready for the link. stole my brothers vr4 injectors so will use them for now.

still havn't done much recently. was gona use a l300 manifold for a multipoint conversion but couldn't find one and glad i didn't as did a bit more research and found i could use a manifold from an 8 valve galant. so went to the wreckers and they had atleast 4 of the moddel i was after sitting around. so got the manifold for $40 which i thought was pretty cheap. Manifold is away atm to be cut and shut to face the right direction.

i have a pair of starion low king springs in the shed somewhere. I'll have a look tomorrow and post them up

this car is looking so mint. when i look at mine now it looks soo rangi. I'll fix it up one day

Finall got around to doing some work on th ex today. Have had enough of not having it going so time to change that. Started by pulling head off and replacing it with the head off my starion for now. Under rocker cover is soo clean compared to head i took off it. Guess thats what you get when only done 50000ks since new. like the red rocker cover . Looks way better than the black one in my opinion. Now need to find an intake manifold. And need to buy a link.

ive got a 1 piece of my mk1 van and i have a mk2 2 piece aswell if you need one . and i think apart from autos all driveshafts are the same on ecorts some one will corect me if im wrong . dan Would be keen on the mk2 one. How much would you want for it? Any idea on shipping costs?

Is a driveshaft from a mk2 escort the same as the ones on the panel vans? I need a new driveshaft for my van so wana make sure they are the same before i start searching for one.

Had GT Radials on my brothers last car. They are pretty average. Had toyo proxes on my last car and they were pretty good. Only $150 each aswell which was way better that anything i was quoted at tonys.

The time has finally come to start work on the starion. the escort is pretty much done and the lancer is waiting on some funds for a link so the starion has made it's way into the garage. Plans: Rebuild engine with bigger turbo and multipoint Make a custom front to go with the kit Fit coilover suspension Panel and Paint, don't know what colour yet Put nice exhaust on it and ehjoy driving it. It has only done 37000 miles so the interior is in good condition. gearbox feels to be good aswell and hoping the factory LSD is also in excellent condition. Side by side starion projects Pulled the head off. Now have to pull the block out. engine has a loud knocking. Think its big end. Some shots from different angles

Yeah its a blue. colour is cool but body not the straightest. Spayed it myself and learning as i go. Once the van on the road will be selling it and then hopefully starting my starion. have to get the lancer running again aswel. It not going due to stupid ecu so had enough and going multipoint with a link.

Loving the colour. Have achieved heaps in the last few days. Progress is good

A starion gearbox has the same mounts as an EX gearbox. But pretty sure the bellhousing is different. The starion uses a hydrolic clutch. Unsure what sigma is.

On second thought maybe cutting off not a goos idea. Might be a cunt realligning them when putting bac on.

Yeah they not wanting to come out. think i might cut them off and weld back on when the time comes. Will have another go at the pins first.
