  1. Hey guys , basically, Im after specs similar to these if you can for any car with a FWD 3sge - although I'd prefer for a 1985-1992ish... Also if anyone has them the same kinda specs for a 3rd Gen Honda Prelude (1987-1992) Im mainly after the 2nd gear ratio and final ratio's + torque. But anything you may have would be greatly appreciated. Cheers,Chris Toyota celica GT-R 1987 disp:1998 cc type:N.A horsepower 150bhp @ 6000 rpm torque:180Nm @ 4800 rpm Comp ratio 9.2:1 Redline:7200 rpm weight:1130kg 5 speed manual gear ratios 1st:3.29 2nd:2.04 3rd:1.32 4th:1.03 5th:0.82 final:4.18

  3. Kiwi is 3x as bad as AllCars, Allcars guys are generally pretty good, but theres a couple of dickheads there. Yes he did race a streetstock, now races a Superstock/Stockcar - swapped his with Conrad Wilson after blowing his motor to pieces.. He's more than just a tow truck driver, owns the whole place Im sure of it, he has a couple of Galaxies/falcons I think matching pair.. Couple of the other good guys there are Brian and Marcus. Cheers,Chris
  4. Looks awesome man Cheers,Chris
  5. I'd go with a hilux or toyota t50 diff (the diff thats used with a t50 g/box) , tried and tested, and theres been a few conversions with them.. Other option is, ring around some rally or autocross guys, they often run different diffs... Cheers,Chris

    Strengthening..

Seam welding adds heaps and heaps of strength, basically joins it all as one, less flex and movement. Which in turns make the car stiffer Cheers,Chris
  9. Twin rivers been and gone hasnt it boss??? Cheers,Chris
  10. Basically, if you have 2" Machined off the top of the shock, when you connect it back to the top hat you have move the centre/insert up 2", thus moving the bottom of the shock itself (not the strut) further away from the bottom . Gives you more bound Also WildplumDx, try your new shocks (assuming they are actually "new") they may just have enough pressure, to fix your problem.. (Old ones quite often are shagged, and dont do shit all Damping) Cheers,Chris

    Bike Carbs

Still , wouldnt have thought tuning it would be anywhere near the cost of a Link Computer... + you still have to get one of those setups tuned... Cheers,Chris

    Bike Carbs

Also that Inlet manifold shouldnt be too hard to make, one of them isnt even bolted together by the look of it, just using hose flexi-joints... Either way wouldnt take too long for a engineer to fabricate one up, could possibly use the original inlet abeit minus the plenium chamber..... Cheers,Chris

    Tints

I think *think* , you can apply them in a similar way to Graphic/stickers - big ones not small ones. Use a wee hand spray bottle (gardening type) and adjust the spray to a mist, spray all over the surface area, that way, it enables to you move the tint around, and you can then apply at one end and slowly work your way to the other, and remove all the air bubbles.(without it sticking) The water simply drys up. Cheers,Chris
