  2. Radiator turned up yesterday so I got it mounted 70mm rotary radiator should help keep things cool Pretty full now

  6. Was just thinking the same thing man... Turning up in a dirty old diesel wagon with assman on the side. Just need some brown stubbies and matching jandels...... And some sweet lip luggage.
  7. Been a wee bit slow at work so I took the manifold and a spear head to work to finished some things. Finally finished turning the manifold into divided pulse to match the turbo. Bought a new waste gate and mounted it in pretty much the only place I could. Now just need to make a small pipe from the waste gate to the dump pipe.......thinks are getting tight now.

Even when I was playing with the setup it all worked well.......and would have all the way up to puttTha steering wheel and taking it for a drive haha. Thanks Cletus for spotting that.. And thanks mof for making me get of my arse and go out to the garage to and see what the fuck your both talking about... Was thinking aboit going back to cortina steering but couldnt be arsed ...............might be arsed now. Thanks again lads...
  10. Its mounted the same way as it is in an escort....just behind the cross member as the steering arms on the cortina face backwards. And doing it this way keeps all the cortina factory steering geometry the same.
  11. Started on the gearbox tunnel today... I wanted to keep as much rooms s possible and its a pretty big arse box.. So I started with some 25mm bix section and cut it down to angle. Then just cut and twisted it into the shape I wanted. Then started on the panel Might get some more done tomorrow
  12. Funny you say that....I made up an adapter and oil feed from the sender as a spear in case I chose to run the n/a head.
  13. I do have a compete n/a head I bought for the cams....but was saving that for the motor I'm going to build. . Once the CAS is all mounted to the head is that not the end of the ball ache?

  15. Got some things done today... BOV mounted Made mounts and spacers for the coil packs And the diff...3.55 torana ...LSD.. And drilled to 4x108. It had some mounts on it for other calipers but I don't know what. So I took a trip to pick a part and grabbed some focus discs and calipers as well as a full set out wheel studs from a sierra. I drilled the hole out for the thicker wheel studs. And made some tabs to moist the calipers.

  19. Hi all Any recommendations for getting a block cleaned and honed in chch. I would say cheap as possible but I also know when it comes to engine you get what you pay for.. Its allreaddy stripped and ready to go. Cheers Dan
  20. Must admit I was pretty close to grinding threw the housing myself but I took a wee bit off the CAS as well . Still a tight fit but it get the full movement for advance and retard.
