  1. i put felt down as well. i also did double deadening in some places and double felt in some places depending on the type of noise and size and shape of panels depends how lush you want it. The deadening and felt acts on different frequencies so both makes the best outcome also depends on space, your carpet may not fit so well in places with lots of deadening
  2. attach camera livestream to kevin secret life of kevin, featuring car builds in the background
  3. 100% get it mounted or made into a display piece. Knife could be cool on a wooden stand with plaque? I've gotta get something done with my grandads boxing stuff. A mouldering pair of boxing gloves sitting in a box is no fun
  4. Alex, this is a fairly extreme way to get some more boot space
  5. You can make it be a portable battery one. I quite like my Wego 3. It's waterproof for bikes/racecars
  6. Yeah It's got a big cam Numbers Above piston is slapping, I assumed this would be the case so I have one on the way. Might put 125 barrel back on and do some speed runs with new cam. Get quite a few views on the comparison vid One issue is that the hotcam does not have a rev counter gear on it. I suppose one could be cut off and attached. But I'm going to blank the head off and use an electronic one
  7. If you had a wof on the date given, it's extended till they say the extension ends. They haven't given an end date yet
  8. 45? everyone gets a bosom for a pillow, everyone gets a bosom
  9. I had planned on doing some custom down stuff as the wif will buy a down jacket, insist on wearing it while painting the house, and then throw it out. But I gotta hide them before she actually throws them out
  10. Bout 50g lighter overall, but more importantly it's now got all the insulation where it's most effective, so it's "twice" as warm. Turning a basic camping bag into something more usable
  11. Sew baffles in the top. I sewed right through the two layers to hold the insulation in place. This is not "the best" way to do it for max insulation, but it's quick. Sew all the seams up Cut out all the unneeded tags and bits Shorten the zip to about 1/3
  12. Wanted a sleeping bag for hunting kit Have plenty of down stuff. However I would prefer to use a synthetic bag for this for ease of cleaning when after being in stinking pack with blood and guts, being wet, being cheap and easy to abuse in bivvys. Got a basic used synthetic bag, quadrofill, not terrible insulation, but one of the heavier options. 833g with stuff sack. Rated to 8C whatever that means in real life. S.o.a.b didn't mention all the seams were fucked. But whatever I guess, I'm Gona cut it up I'm turning it into an insulation on top only bag like my macpac pinnacle and Neve First step. Sew up the foot box. Keeping insulation from the ankles down all around Open the inner seam up all the way, unstitch all the bottom insulation and remove it.
  13. I believe there's words to the effect of they must be mounted as close as practical to those corners. Splitscreen Morrie has always had wof at bottom right, they keep sticking it back on there without asking. Top right would be directly in your vision
  14. the gt200 rims i have are 1.6" the 3.00 sr244 fits well, about the same as a dual sport 90/90
  15. There were some hidenau scouts about, but I had trouble finding them again, so I now have a golden boy on the back of gn Shinko 300-18 sr244 front rear dual sport on TradeMe $66
