  9. Discussion - //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/41676-i500gts-diesel-220c-ced-sled/ So I finally got myself a road legal Datsun. I bought it off a backpacker who purchased it from the auctions in Hamilton and drove it around the country before departing for Thailand from Christchurch earlier today. Its a bit rough around the edges and may need a few patches sorting for its next wof but its a pretty solid car over all. Rumour has it was a Taxi in Hamilton many years ago Its a 4 speed column change manual with a 2.2 diesel and a bench seat, in other words awesome! Plans so far are just to go through the basics oil, cooling system etc. will keep an eye out for a set of suitable wheels and install some low. I will get some better pics when it stops raining Longer term I may look at replacing the SD22 Motor with an LD28 or something similar
