wheres a good cheap place in auckland preferably out west, who can work my head abit, just after port polish, crack test etc. also how much am i looking at to get a port polish done? i also have a lumpy cam, but no specs. how much of a bitch is it going to be to find out its specs? is it possible? and if i cant find out the specs, will the tappets be hard to do?

thats normal bro, my last two cortinas have done it, my mates one does it etc. quite interesting also, eg king springs have a left hand and right hand spring and ones slightly taller than the other to make up for it..kinda lol, maybe its built in on purpose, so when you sit in the drivers seat, it weighs that side down and evens it out?? i got no idea anyway. anyone after a set of superlow king springs for mk3-4-5 tina? pm me.

yep, definatly. ive had 215s on 6" and 7" rims and they are fine so im sure 225s on 8" will fit nicely.

ive always done my timing by hand/eye/ear, i cant possibly see why you need a timing light lol

go 16x6 or 15x7, i got 16s, fill the guards nicely, 13s look sweet on the front, but at the back they look ham.

yeh looking good, but they do make it look less staunch, which is exactly what happend to the tina when i chucked 16s on it, but im back on the 16s soon, got my superlows today...although they dont drop it as much as i would have hoped . you end up getting those seats?

depending on hwo bad it is depends on what you use, i use this "mr buff" shit from supercheap which cuts it mean after ive painted it, then after that i use a normal superfine cream polish/wax. turns out mint for home jobs, just gotta eb careful to not cut all the paint off, could almost see primer in some places on my old tina .

those mags would look pretty nice, youd probably need to flare the guards to get them on?

the tridents definatly give it a different look to the 16s, more aggressive etc, its beginning to feel exactly like the old cortina now that their on , i kinda prefer it on tridents over the 16s, but the 16s will look mean when i get some superlows for it.

yeh sounds simalar to my straight thru exhuast i had with no muffler in it, with a rice cannon at the end, but yours doesnt sound as fuckoff loud etc, yours has more of a nice tone/tune to it

the new mk5 is on the road, gone back to rolling around on tridents for now, until i get some superlow king springs to replace the lows. pics to come, when i finish off a few little things.

what kind of exhuast system do you have? pipe size/mufflers/tip ? any engine mods to the engine? ive had many different exhuast systems on my standard pinto, standard / straight thru + rice cannon/ straight thru + 421 extractors + rice cannon/ straight thru 421 extractors, sports muffler, dumpy tip. etc by anyway, your car sounds mean, better than any of the setups ive had so far.

same thing happend to me, i got mine done at midas, took it back, charged me $20 to fix it, whcih i think was resonable for what they done, they made this new bracket thing up which pwnd the old one.

mitre 10 mega, i got some ados windscreen sealant shit $10 approx and a gun thing for it $3 or something. just chucked my windscreens into day, fuck its a bitch id rather pay someone to do it, but not if it was gonna cost more than $20 a window cuz im stingy and poor.
