The cast iron head manifold has the ports closer together where as the alloy head has evenly spaced holes, il try and draw a pic 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 alloy 0-0 - 0-0 cast iron

They are going up in price, but yea it better be mint for that price iv only ever blown one headgasket and dont have any heating problems so to be honest i think thats a bit of a phallacy with todays technology with coolant and shit.
