  1. go to the sprint on the 23rd since all u cunt chickened out last time cos of rain
  2. becose my cooling isnt big enuf when racin i hav had it up to 115deg c. but yea under 100 shudnt be a prob. u using cortina or esck rad? wt thermostat u using?
  3. when i put some headers on ma cortina, 4 - 2 - 1, it made a huge huge difference. i found them in ma parts shed so dnt know brand....
  4. yip, its all a comprmise tho. compression ratio is probly the single most importand thing to get rite for a good all round powerd motor.mine it currently to low. but at the moment its scares a lot ov evos ect on a dry day. but good luck man.
  5. series 4 rx7 (ht18) with a .36 t3 exhaust that i machined to fit the ht18 exhaust wheel
  6. mate you mite be pushing it to make 200rwkw. both me and rt r running around 20psi and make 120 - 140 rwkw injected and intercooled. we just have stump pulling torque. u will have to be intercooled if you run that much boost with out trick knock sensers etc. good luck tho, iv got one of those superchargers and they are quite big and the pully is huge so lots of room to improve it.
  7. put a clear tube over the nipple so you can see air locks. this is how i do it. 1 get a mate to jump in, 2 apply pressure 3 open nipple, foot shud now go down at least half way,(push till it stops)(be sure the person in the car doesent lift off the pedal if the nipple is open) 4 once you can see fluid has stopd flowing close nipple. 5 repeat 2,3,4. be sure the not to run out of fluid start with the furtherist away wheel.

  9. anything off a 1800 to 2000cc motor shud work. the first suck through i used a old t3. vf10 or vf8 are good for suck through (i know u want blow through tho) becose you unbolt the alloy bend off the front and drill and tap holes to bolt on the carb ( like a su ) makes it simple. blow through is more complicated to do but can work. requires higher pressure fuel pump etc.

  14. gold mk5 lol, prob the only one there i bet. the body is a piece ov crap, just using it to pevelop the engine and then i will find sumfing worthy for the motor. the palmy drifters hav done a few of the manawatu car club events, quite awsum guys. very entertaining

  18. thats a bit ruff, not to mention making the taper useless. adjustable top arms arnt hard to make.

  20. ohh and the aux shaft is jst da shaft running off the cam belt that runs the dizzy and oil pump
  21. my cosworth ones are dished with cut outs for valves, not that the cutouts do anything cos its nt a 16valve head like they are designd for. the cosworth items are forged and the pin height is about 60thou less than pinto ones, therefore the stop that far short of the deck. i dont know the exact new cr with these pistons-rt mite do...... they are floating pin tho so you either hone the 205 rod to suit or you do what i did and press them through the rod as usual, less complacited. also cosworth and pinto have the same standart bore size
  22. wow your keen. im putting a vr4 motor into ex aswell. the factory lume is crazy, to bulky and sht. went for a link way easy to wire up. interestd to find out hw it goes tho
